How do I record and Ascent?

To record and ascent of a route simply browse to the route in the database and click on the "Record Ascent" button at the bottom of the route information display.You'll be presented with a form to record all the neccessary information about your climb. Use the "ascent Notes" field to provide as much detailed information as possible (even some Beta!) to make your note useful to other climbers. All your Sends can be seen in your Climbing Log.

Grade the route based on your experience and relative to other routes in the area. You may or may not agree with the official grading. we will calculate and display a consensus rating for each route.

Rate the route from 1 to 5 (1=low, 5=high) on the following elements - Scenery, Exposure, Rock Quality, Fun Factor and an Overall Rating. This information will also be used to calculate a consensus rating for each route.
