Third time lucky for Aussie boulderer

On his third attempt Australian Ben Cossey eventually showed Careless Torque, E7 7a, at Stanage who’s boss.

His love-hate history with the wrath of Torque includes bloodied fellow boulderers and 8 falls the last move. The second try was pretty close but a lack of spotters impeded his near victory until Ben Bransby saved the day with some advice on the last move, after which Cossey never looked back.
