The Lead World Cup took place in Boulder, Colorado this week with a sell-out crowd of 1300 people attending, with a further 20 000 people watching the live stream of the event on ifsc.tv. This was the first Lead World Cup to be held in the United States in over 20 years.

The routes proved difficult with none of the competitors finishing the routes. Jakob Schubert took the top of the podium for the men, while Johanna Ernst was the winner in the women's division. Second place in the mens division went to Sachi Amma and Mina Markovic took it for the females division. Third place for the men's and women's went Romain Desgranges and Momoka Oda.
