Leavenworth: Snow Creek Wall Closure

There is a temporary closure in effect for the climbing area about 5 miles up the Icicle Road from Leavenworth. The Main Wall and Shield area of the Snow Creek Wall is closed to minimize human disturbance to peregrine falcons nesting in this area. To protect these birds and climbers from the raptors aggressive behavior, all climbs from Outer Space, White Slabs direct, and White Fright south to the descent gully are closed to all entry during the nesting period. The descent gully remains open as are all routes north of White Slabs. This closure will remain in effect until July 31.
