Article: Search abandoned for illegal French climbers
I'm surprised by this "illegal" expedition.
An advanced camp has been found on the Mt Paldor not under Ganesh Himal 7. And the french media as well as the French embassy don't talk about an illegal attempt across the border.

4 out of 5 stars I'm happy to see that you find Eider clothers nice. They have a reputation of high quality and high prices as well : I by example have owned a Polartec200 fleece with reinforced shoulders for 8 years now, that I paid a lot, but it still like new, so it was worth the investment.

4 out of 5 stars Hey Vegas!
About the eVent fabric : I bought a pair of moutain shoes last winter, an Italian brand called Kayland, with the eVent fabric inside, and I can tell FIRST HAND that it's BREATHABILITY is EXCELLENt! I'm not satisfied with the boot itself which is too rigid for my feet, but I feel warm in winter and cool in summer because it never gets wet inside, thanks to the eVent layer.
Is there a Kayland booth at the show???

4 out of 5 stars The Reactor seems nice though expensive. Does it work with standard gaz canister, if yes which ones (I'm not sure I have understood this part)? The struggle when I travel outside of France is to find my Camping Gaz canisters, even if their availability has improved over the years, especially in the US.

Article: GHM Opposes Olympic Torch Relay to Everest
A bit of precisions about the GHM : it was created in the lates 1910's by the French Alpine Club, from which it later splits. His members now come from many different countries : by example, Neil Brodie was admitted last year, with a group of Iranian alpinists as well.
