On the 3rd of December, Japanese rock climber, Sachi Amma was able to send La Rambla (5.15a). Sachi spent 5 days on this route and seven attempts before redpointing La Rambla.

La Rambla is situated at Siurana in Spain and was first established by Alexander Huber in 1994, the route was further extended in 2003 by Ramon Julian Puigblanque giving it the grade of 5.15a.

This route is very popular and has attracted some of the best climbers in the world, these include the likes of Edu Marin and Chris Sharma who were the first to repeat this route in 2006, and other rock climbers to repeat this route include Adam Ondra, Andreas Bindhammer, Enzo Oddo and Patxi Usobiaga.

Recently, Sashi Amma won the Lead World Cup 2012, La Rambla (5.15a) is a good climb to end the year off with, but Sashi will be staying in Spain for a bit longer to work on his next climb, Golpe de Estado (5.15b).
