I saw your post about trails and climbing areas you created using Google Earth. Great job, how much of your free time did you spend creating all of that? I've actually been doing something similar for a few areas in southern California. I attatched a .kml file for the only big wall in San Diego county. Take a look and tell me what you think. Maybe sometime in the future we could team up and eventually cover all of California? I also saw that you mentioned that it is sometimes hard to determine the different walls from the aerial image alone. Have you explored the "Street View" option in Google Earth? If not you should check it out. It gives a real life photo from the majority of the major roads in CA. I realize that many climbing areas and walls don't have roads within the line of sight, but for the few that do it should be a very helpful tool. Take care and keep up the great work!
Dave
