Drive along Highway 3 west.
First stop Castlegar and the Waterline Walls, Lions Head. Sport routes up to 3 pitches.
Second. Skaha. 700+ routes mostely sport.
Third Squamish. Small grags, if your just clipping bolts.

PS. Don't waste your time in Alberta.

As a "off the beaten path" route you could go N from Calgary through Nordegg. There's some great multipitch sport, an awesome hostel, lots of diversity and its pretty damn quite.

And while I take issue with the Alberta comment Wink, Highway 3 is an awesome drive. Waterline Walls was a blast and Oosoyoos north is wine country!

P.S. If you do go the south route, skip the Coquihalla Highway and stay on the #3 through Manning Park.
