On Wednesday, May 26th there will be a public planning workshop for Chimney Rock State Park. The workshop will take place at the Municipal Meeting Hall in Lake Lure, NC. Open to the public, the meeting will open from 10 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Any climber that can should drop by sometime during those hours to learn about the State Park Master Plan, meet with State Park staff and the plan consultant, and, most importantly, give input on future park development. The state of North Carolina has commissioned Greenways Inc. to aid in the process.
