In the second edition of the free pocket guide for Pilot Mtn., two routes are noted as closed. The top anchors next to 'Pee Break', previously listed here as 'Number Two Too' and changed in the pocket guide to 'Pee Break Right', were removed by order of the Park Superintendent. Reason was complaints by hikers of climbers blocking Ledge Springs Trail. Closing this route is a warning about blocking the Trail at any route. There being an alternative foot-path for hikers is not an excuse for blocking the Trail. Blocking the Trail in any way for any time must not be done ever, or that route could be "chopped" too, just because you were selfish and lazy. The chimney and sloped face next to 'Devil in the Whitehouse', called 'Grunge' or 'Steaming Piles', also has been noted as closed, because of rocks falling. The anchors were natural, so one would have to know from the latest guidebook that it is closed. However, that is the only place it is noted as closed. Take that as you will. .
