They seem like a cool idea, but I've never heard of anyone actually using them. Seems to me that a route protected entirely like this would be impractical, as an empty bolt hole would get dusty and grimy and make using these more dangerous.

Anyway, the RBs are not appropriate for highlining, you are going to get them stuck or kink the cable making them useless. If you REALLY want to use them for highlining, you are going to need to use the 3/4" or larger versions. If you are looking for a removable bolt option for highlining, I can supply you with a solution, but the RB is not it.
