I oversee (for free) a climbing wall in a small Appalachian town recreation center – it’s a multi purpose center and the wall is only open Thursday evenings. The fees for use are $2 for adults and $1 for kids. It’s an area with very low incomes – the center is to help keep kids off the streets and out of trouble. We have harnesses but only a very few pair of climbing shoes that people have donated. We could use climbing shoes in any size and any condition short of in pieces - I can do a little glue work to them. If you have climbing shoes that are too worn out for you, or that your kids have out grown etc – these kids could still get some good out of them. So if you’d like to help some kids learn to climb and do a “Pay it forward” good deed – your help would be appreciated. Drop me a PM and I’ll give you shipping information - oh yeah - that's the good deed part - you pay the shipping. :)
