Weight Bearing Belay?

Hi folks, since I'm new to the sport, I'd like to ask if any gear heads could help me get stronger.

I saw this video about this Redcord suspension device for training and rehab and was wondering what climbing gear I could use to reproduce the same results.

I like it because it is rated for 300lbs and is a simple system. Is this just using some inline belay device? Seems like I could make one with some strong non-elastic rope, a couple carbiners and a suitable locking device...?

Any recommendations for me? Thanks! Blush
