We have a solid pullup bar already mounted through reinforced trusses and built up infrastructure in the attic through the ceiling -- the pullup can hold four big guys no problem.
I liked the Redcord idea because it seemed all I had to do was throw the cord over the bar and back through the locking mech to get the easy-to-adjust height feature it provides, not to mention the loose end doesn't need to be tied down or held.
I'd rather not use knots because the load weight height down from the bar needs to be easily adjustable like the Redcord mechanism is.
Any other suggestions?
