I agree. Also, sport climbing in general in Arkansas will probably suck in mid January. your digits will freeze half way up. don't go to sam's throne if you don't trad climb. there are some select sport climbs and bouldering, but most of its surrounding areas are sport and trad areas.
As I would suggest bouldering for this time of year, I'd say either go to cowell or horseshoe. It really just depends on what feel you are going for, as both areas have plenty of bouldering. Horseshoe will have plenty of people, the camping is pretty open and is on ranch land. Font red camping is on Ozark Nat. Forest land, is in the woods away from civilization, and will definitely be less crowded.
