This bump buisnes is fairly pointless. (go ahead and rip my head off but that won't change anything) Yes the guy is missing, this thread has a sticky which should be suficient. all the bumps do is make the thread 17 pages long so that if there actualy was some significant new information chances are that nobody would find it!!!! keep the pointless chatter down to a dull roar so that if there is any real new info it will be center stage. it's like being on the road with a CB. Listen, learn and keep your trap shut unless you have real input. usless chatter just clogs up the airwaves.

To everyone who has replied to this thread: In an effort to clean it up a bit, I have deleted all of the "Bump" posts to this point. However, please continue to "bump" this to the front page; even though this thread has been up for a while, people are still finding out about this for the first time today. I have kept any informative posts as well as good wishes. This way, important info will continue to take precedence over the bumps. Thanks very much to all of you who have responded. Please feel free to add "Bump" to keep this up top. I will clean them up every so often. Thanks, Loran BTW, so far I have probably deleted over 300 "bumps." It is great to see the climbing community showing their support by helping to keep this on the front page!

In reply to: Curt, Thinking of John this am and wonder if the LV PD or anyone has found his car? Any news? laurel I do not believe his car has been found; his sister Jane hasn't mentioned that it had. This is most odd. Curt

I don't know John, and I absolutely do not mean to take this lightly, but seeing this post up for so long it's hard not to wonder if maybe he had some reason to make himself disappear. I mean, people who are victims of crime usually turn up sooner than this. Again, no disrespect intended, and even though I don't know him, I almost feel like I do at this point, and he seems to be a cool guy from what everyone has said. It would just be kind of tragically weird if he was sitting on the beach in Cozumel with a new identity or something while everyone is out there looking for him and bumping this post. Given the alternatives, I kind of hope this might even be the case. Just saying what others are probably thinking, but if this offends Curt or anyone else just say so and I'll delete, no flaming required. I've had people close to me meet with tragic and unfair ends, and I certainly hope that this will end when he's found alive and well, with some very strange story to tell.
