Mach2, tell me more, did you buy yours tight and it stretched out way too much for your liking or do you mean high volume in the general fit and little stretch? i had a pair of cliffs way back and they were great till they stretched out two sizes. I know it's all subjective but if i go with the nagos I will feel like an a**hole returning my third pair of shoes if these don't work out. bottom line it's tough for me to get a sense of what's going to fit without at least a full day of climbing in something. thanks again

Unforuntly I only tested the Nago on plastic for a day, I found the toe box very roomy, and I'm sure they would have stretched obnoxiously big because they are actually made of leather. The shoe's fit was just overall sloppy, and diddn't have the same ease of edging. For all day trad usage the stiffer gambit gets my vote if for no other reason than its got a better heel cup, and has little to no stretch.

well i went with the nago and i agree with Mach2, if you have anything but ridiculously shaped clown feet like me the nago's would be to roomy in the toe, fortuntaly for me I just got home from a day out with them and the seem to be a better fit than the evolvs and the gambit's i tried on. thanks to eveyone who gave me their two cents. happy 4th gang brownie

I'm between two shoes, the La Sportiva Nago and the Mad Rock Flash 2.0. I consider myself an intermediate climber and I climb a 5.10b and sometimes c. I was wondering if anyone has used these shoes or which ones I should get. I am mainly going to use these shoes for the gym. Also price doesn't matter to me, so I don't care if the Nago's are more expensive. Is one better for smearing, heel-hooking, edging, anything?
