didn't get it. sorry. (are you saying I should take up golf? cause that's all the pic was). I find golf boring and too pro-establishment for my tastes. I'd rather die.

So, I added another new design and someone has already bought an item with it on it. It's also getting a good amount of viewing traffic in the shop, despite it being fairly low on the overall page layout. I am not really happy with the design, and will be redoing it at some point, but don't really have any inspiration as to what to do yet. So, while it is in limbo, let me ask for critiques by anyone who might be interested in giving some feedback. Here's the design: The page in the shop showing it on items is here: http://www.cafepress.com/climbaddict/7024230 On the dark print colors(black, chocolate, navy) on light shirts, it is readable. But the light color print isn't really, I don't think. So, until I redo it, I can't add dark color shirts to the category. I usually do a pale pink, light blue, light tan and light grey, and these colors are just too subtle for the font to carry and be readable from any distance. I could keep the font, and add a background, I suppose, but I'm thinking maybe just choose a bolder typeface. Is the simple countdown list enough, or would you rather see a more artsy graphic, with maybe some sort of other elements involved besides just text? Also willing to take suggestions on other "top 10 things" (people say to climbers) since I am considering a redo from scratch. And on another note - this week I am going to be announcing a promotion that I'm running. It's actually already started, and can be found here: http://climbaddict.blogspot.com/

It's a really great idea and list. I would just simply change the font. Something bold and simple.

Couple I would add are... "do you rappel too?" "do you ever free climb?" "aren't you afraid of falling?" And I've had people yell up at me in while climbing in Zion..."DON'T FALL!" My reply...haha, yeah, thanks. Pffftt. Are you using photoshop to design with Happie?

I know that when I was first yelled up "Yer Gonna DIEEEEE!!!(I was on the 2nd pitch on Mike's Book in Joshua Tree, and some dudes driving down the road in a car were hanging out the windows, music blaring) I was in 7th Heaven.... hahahah I do my graphics in Illustrator. Once in a while I want o use an effect that is in PShop and I'll open the file in that program to work it. Like the Chrome Wings design, or the ones that have a photo image. But I am pretty poor with PShop. Not that I am so hot in Illustrator.... but most of my stuff is text and vector-based. To get the Illustrator file to PNG, you simply "Save for Web" and it offers the choice.

I really need to get that redone. Guess I better actually put it on my 'to do' list! At any rate, I have another new design. although this one isn't climbing specific. Oh yeah, I also made "Belayer With Benefits" - which I can see plenty of guys wearing(though maybe not on a chicks pink tee), but for a girl... maybe to torment the guys, I suppose. I still have so many designs to do, and have also expanded the "Bar Code Climber" design to include "bouldering" and "mountaineering." As well, I am rolling out that concept in a non-climbing shop, but that is going to be a little while before it's ready to let people see. edit: oh, and someone said upthread about "Yer gonna die" being an rc joke. I don't think that is originated on rc.com or even in rock climbing. Though I can't say for sure, I had the feeling it came from some pop culture reference, maybe a film or something, some time in the 90's or maybe even '80's.

I was under the impression that this thread was about best climbing shirt ideas, not your own personal advertisement page.
