I tried, I really muthafuckin tried. It's just not in the cards this year. There's only one person on this island who can cover my shifts and he is unavailable after the 4th.
As such, I'll be skipping the fest and sinking my Bermudian picks into the good ice a week before all you gumbs hack it up.
This is the first time in my life I've been at sea level longer than 2 days. Chances are I'm going to wheezing and slow and maybe, just maybe, not climbing sunup to sunset.
Enjoy the fest guys, at least I'm still getting some sticks in this winter.

I should be there starting next wednesday but my gf flippin bailed on me so i have plane tix and a hotel but I have no one to climb with on wednesday and thursday or the weekend for that matter- Never been to ouray and I really want to get on some stuff! Anyone else need a partner??

Hey guys!
The ice fest was a blast.
However, it ended on a rather sad note.
My friend left his camera on the street as they were packing up the car to leave from the Ice Park.
It's a long shot, but has anyone found or know someone who found a silver Canon Rebel XT on the street somewhere near the Ice Park?
He can't afford much, so it's always disappointing when you lose something like that.

Here's his craigslist posting, but it's kind of erroneous as it's a Rebel XT.
