He wants to post about hitting IC and how he has no tent and /or enough rack. Convey my apologies. Should be fixed now. Has it not crossed anyone's mind that corynauman may still be a double dipper in the username realm?

It has. I think we have it covered, though.

j_ung wrote: Okay, I have the official word. Here's what happened: 1. The primary drive of the dropzone database server crashed and was not recoverable. It was an older server. 2. We fell over to our new back up. 3. The back-up could not handle the traffic well, and performance was poor during peak traffic times. 4. Yesterday, our developers upgraded the back up from 4 GB of ram, to 16 GB of ram, and performance improved. It has handled traffic for the last 24 hours or so without issue. 5. We upgraded the main hardware and RAM to give us protection from drive failures and additional performance improvements. As of now, we're still on the back-up, which is working fine. Obviously, though, we need to switch back over to the main server. When that happens, there's going to be another outage for probably 20 minutes. This'll be around 4:30 PM Pacific time, Thursday. Thanks all. I hate, hate, HATE the inconvenience all this caused. Fuck dude! Are you telling me that I actually have to do homework now? Jesus.

No, fuck that. I am in no way telling you that you have to do homework. Personally, I'd rather eat anthrax.

Well, he didn't say that but I think he should have. Think we're the same person? Give me a min, I'll upload a pic with both of us...

I believe there was actually another hiccup, but it was upstream of the hamster.

Jay, When you post an announcement about an event, you should include the date of the event in the title of the announcement. You've had an announcement up about an event that happened four days ago with a title that still says "this afternoon." I'm not too bright, so every day I click on the announcement wondering if there is the site is going to go down again. Jay
