Not a lot of developed climbing in Newfoundland.
There is a ton of rock, but some of it is quite chossy.
The walls lining Western Brook Pond in Gros Morne are spectacular, dozens of 1000' faces, but climbing is not allowed there.
The rest is pretty spread out and adventurous. Anyway, it's an interesting place...

I got a DWI in the States 2 1/2 years ago and lost my license for 3 years, prior to my now 2 year sobriety date. I get my license back in 5 months, but Canada doesn't allow people with that on their record in. Period.
I can apply at a Canadian consulate for travel priveleges after 5 years with no further misconduct.
