I had a temp in yesterday to help me get all the company christmas cards done... we ordered 250 gift cards ($50 each) to distribute to 200 employees and not only did 35 employees not get a giftcard, but we were also short at the end...

All in all 65 cards are missing and I'm feeling like a putz.

I'm working for another 30 min, going to PT, then cooking and drinking for a par-tay tonight

I'm on the phone being threatened by the boss about $3250 in gift cards being missing.

Sounds like you need to track down the temp.

Did you have a look?

Well lycanthopy doesn't come up in dictionary.com.
But it suggest a very simular spelled word as warewolves. I didn't go to urbane dictionary, as I Was at work.

somehow, if that`s it, it doesn`t surprise me.

A. It's spelled werewolf

B. The porn, you should check it out.

Warewolves like tupperware parties

I'm not dignifying that with a response.

Yes, this is correct. Texas has much better weather than socal. I highly recommend it.

disagree

it's like 500,000 degrees perfect during the summer.

no

Oh no. Its highly recommended.
All the New Englanders really ought to check it out. Texas is the THE place for them. No Noreasters. No wet snow. No shoveling wet snow all winter. No Ice on the sidewalks. Sun comes up and out during the day, doesn't set at 3 pm like Maine. Much shorter flight back home for the holidays. No state income tax to rob them blind.
Yes Yes. Highly recommended.

yeah, but then we'd be in Texas...and who does that?

Single greatest horror movie OF ALL TIME!

Or perhaps "horror" is too broad a classification to pick a #1.

Really though... what is horror these days? Classic thriller/suspense/gore doesn't really exist anymore. I'm VERY desensitized to gore these days, having grown up watching Evil Dead type stuff. It's the movies like Exorcist, Shining and The Ring that have creeped me out the most.

The most effective thing about TTCM for me was that it was creepy and unnerving. I read a great quote somewhere that basically said...

"It's like Tobe Hooper found a bunch of insane people and let the run loose in front of the camera"

...or something to that effect. If you remember, the movie isn't that bloody, it's just fuckin nuts.

And I totally agree with out about The Exorcist and The Shining. Totally Top 10 genre list material.

They are kind of loose and feel like pajama bottoms but they have pockets, a zipper, belt looks, ect...so they are actual pants. Probably the next best thing to climbing in short-shorts, which you will never see me do.

ooo those sound awesome

the prana warehouse sale was this weekend... now I look like a trendy prana spokesperson but at a fraction of the cost

I'd be ashamed if they weren't so cheap...and comfy

Yes Prana is trixy like that, always putting there stuff on sale. Veeeerrry trixy.

They haven't gotten me yet!

yeah but when the shirts are $5 and pants not much more, I throw dignity out the window for clothes. I got 7 things for under $100...

actually their clothes fit me really well.and are super comfy... I just feel like the runners who aren't that great but head to toe decked in nike gear :P

The silver lining is a lot of SD climbers know about the warehouse sale, so we all end up looking equally trendy... less taunting Blush

Yeah I've mostly gotten over the trendy vs. functional delema. Still embarassed to wear the North Face logo but I do it because fleece is fuzzy DAMN IT.

What is the prejijuice with the norf face?

They have embraced, at least in part, the push towards style over substance in the "outdoor enthusiasts" clothing.

If that's it... then my Marmot jacket ain't warm, aint wind or waterproof, but she sure is pretty.

I've got a story about this from a short period of people watching earlier today. Details to come...

Did you guys have a good weekend?

I had a really mediocre weekend.

Mediocre Work on sat.

And mediocre visitors on yesteday.
Why, yes we did thanks.
Friday was drive thru Nativity with the kids. Complete with sheep, goats, and camels. Then off to Sears to pick up my Christmas present. Sat afternoon was daughter's dance performance. Complete with her & half her class standing on stage staring at her instructor for 5 minutes. But they are only 3/4 yo. She said she had a good time though, thats fine. Sat evening we went down the street for an little party. Complete with 80's music and outfits. Sunday was babysitter for kids. Date night with the wife and "Dawn Treader."
SO yea, you could say I had a good weekend. Cool

Your organizational/multitasking skills are quite advanced.
You too can develop these kind of skills. It requires lots of hard work, and three kids w/ a wife, but if your willing to put in the time, you too can be a multitasking over doer.

I'm thinking an evening class at the community college might be more my speed
Well, that might get you some book knowledge. And they may even have you practicing your skills a bit.
But if you want to develop real skillz, step up to the plate.

I have some friends with two kids (3 and 5 I think) and I go spend a day or two with them evey few months. That is honestly all I can take. Which sucks because I really like them but I just can't be in that environment. Between the frenetic pace of the kids and the adult "married life" issues and the constant doing of things, I just can't handle it.
