I'm not much of a fan of the new serious camhed.

It's been downhill ever since he got his PhD.

Doctor Paul is a legend in Dallas!!

Dammit. Actually I just thought I'd try fucking with WMD, since he was not sure if my original serious rant about 5.3s was serious or not.

But remember, THE INTERNET IS SERIOUS BUSINESS!!!

I was 94.2% sure that you were screwing around, but then again Chossy has been known to throw me on occasion. You and him are like rambunctious twins that no one wants to babysit.

that's why you're not afraid to spank, right?

I haven't seen teh kartoon, biner is just rong about not liking Calvin and Hobbes. I'd put it at #2 among comic strips, #1 being Bloom County.

Yes. And as much as I hate to agree with Snupes, I think C&H and Bloom Country may be the top two.

Crap, I forgot about Farside. We have a trifecta. Though I could easily place C&H in third, I couldn't choose between Farside and Bloom.

not sure, never been. if the weather doesn't improve i may be bailing...16 hours in the sleet doesn't sound pleasant, but we'll see.

you gotta stop looking at weather.com..

Accuweather is showing clear all 3 days until sunday night. Noaa is only showing like 20% after 2-3pm with no accumulation
Exactly.

We're undergoing upgrades to our stuff at work, else I'd be mooching weather reports from there like I usually do.

Nope not me. I don't have a Jersey accent, I don't put on my harness in the parking lot, I wasn't at the Trapps and I'm not obnoxious at the crag..

I did see you recently though. Stood 6 feet from you. You were spraying like a fire hose and your boygirl was jumping around yapping like a little chihuahua. I just stood there shaking my head, getting soaked from the spray. I would have grabbed my umbrella but it was in my pack. We just hopped in the car and headed off to the crag.
When were you at the Red?

Yes. And as much as I hate to agree with Snupes, I think C&H and Bloom Country may be the top two.

Crap, I forgot about Farside. We have a trifecta. Though I could easily place C&H in third, I couldn't choose between Farside and Bloom.

Yeah, for me it would be a close call between Far Side and C/H for #2.

i'm not sure what "rollies" are...

how is that a rollie? Try this:

Looks like doesn't it? I think they just ran out of filling.

I know people who smoke handrolled cigarettes with a filter. perhaps it is not the cheeba.

I made chicken parm.
The chicken had been in my freezer since a week after I moved in.

Didn't steal the rack. The cord was kept cuz douchemanbu was an asshole to my girlfriend. In hindsight going with WC instead of BD was dumb but they still work pretty well.

Hmm, this 'keep the gear because the guy was a an asshole to me' sets a dangerous precedent. I was lucky to get my gearz back from zeke!Shocked

Yea well.. when someone drives 2 hrs to meet you and you don't show.. you really shouldn't expect your shit back anymore. that was the case sooo.. i have a cordalette that works great

Yes there is. Good to know.

Do you guys want cookies or pie?

yes?

yep... or either.. both are good.

Far side goes above Calvin and Hobbes but CH is still awesome.
I have a thing for xkcd

I was always a garfield fan myself... but CH was pretty good too. Can't really beat Far Side for repeated quality though.
Dude, there are some Garfield strips that make my stomach hurt from laughing so hard.
Far side, Garfield and calvin and hobbs are definitely my favourite. I haven't heard of the bloom one they were talking about, though.

I was 94.2% sure that you were screwing around, but then again Chossy has been known to throw me on occasion. You and him are like rambunctious twins that no one wants to babysit.

that's why you're not afraid to spank, right?

He just said he was afraid to spank it cause he wanted you to do it for him.

Yes. And as much as I hate to agree with Snupes, I think C&H and Bloom Country may be the top two.

Yeah, for me it would be a close call between Far Side and C/H for #2.

You guys are living in the past. When BC came back just recently it was just tripped out. There is not new C&H now either. Right or has my paper just dropped them.

The chicken had been in my freezer since a week after I moved in.
Hope I cooked it long enough.

Yeah, when the aussie mentioned Garfield, I was about to tell him to get right the fuck out and never come back again. But then I decided not to, since I've been being so serious, and he might have seriously taken offense and cried the real tears.

what is it with teh feriners and garfield? It's nowhere close to teh level of the three we've been mentioning.

Yeah, when the aussie mentioned Garfield, I was about to tell him to get right the fuck out and never come back again. But then I decided not to, since I've been being so serious, and he might have seriously taken offense and cried the real tears.

But seriously, Kachoong, get right the fuck out!

You guys are living in the past. When BC came back just recently it was just tripped out. There is not new C&H now either. Right or has my paper just dropped them.

Being that I live at a ski resort, I get RSN...I've been watching ski porn all morning.

I'm beginning to doubt the possibility of rumney, given how little packing i have done and how much cleaning of this place to do (one roommate already bailed, the other is out of town till sunday and we have to be moved out by tuesday.)

no, Berke Breathed was doing Sunday strips called Opus -- obviously, the penguin was still the same main character. Don't remember who else was involved in the strip. I generally preferred the weekday strips anyway, they were better since you could have a long plotline.

BC is terrible, yes.

Oh, I've gotcha, you were using BC= Bloom County.

I think there was another spinoff of Bloom County called Outlands, that was not too bad.

meh. The worst comic I ever regularly read was that one clausti and maculated liked with martin and faye. One day bored at teh work, I read like a hundred of them. big mistake. I got hooked, and it took me a while to quit.

BC was pseudo christian? I didn't realize that, but I only read a handful.

Beetle Bailey was on par with charlie brown, that good 1950s humor. I did like Miss Buxley.

Garfield was funny... when I was 8 years old.

I was always a garfield fan myself... but CH was pretty good too. Can't really beat Far Side for repeated quality though.
Dude, there are some Garfield strips that make my stomach hurt from laughing so hard.
Far side, Garfield and calvin and hobbs are definitely my favourite. I haven't heard of the bloom one they were talking about, though.

what is it with teh feriners and garfield? It's nowhere close to teh level of the three we've been mentioning.

I found it pretty funny when we were talking about Bloom Country and Politics and the Koala mentioned Garfield. I was expecting Family Circle to come up next.

I laughed. But then, I was never much of a CH fan.

you were rong.

i'm wrong for not being a calvin and hobbes fan?

You guys are living in the past. When BC came back just recently it was just tripped out. There is not new C&H now either. Right or has my paper just dropped them.

Anyway, the best one that I see now is Pearls

Jake/Biner,

I'm too lazy to research it, and it makes a difference in what I'll be packing for foodz.

Calm post is closed for the season. we missed it last weekend was the last one.

i'm bringing the coleman double burner :) i dunno what i'm cooking on top of it but there will be major firepower to do it with
Good to know.

Do you guys want cookies or pie?

yes?

yep... or either.. both are good.

Yeah, when the aussie mentioned Garfield, I was about to tell him to get right the fuck out and never come back again. But then I decided not to, since I've been being so serious, and he might have seriously taken offense and cried the real tears.

But seriously, Kachoong, get right the fuck out!

and take haggisdonny with you.

Whatever... lick mah ballz!

Cyanide and Happiness is the best modern cartoon strip...

That's probably a fair statement. I haven't read a lot of them, but I went through some website that Ekop posted up a long ways back and there's certainly some quality humor there.

*Shakes fizt at family circle*
