I have never cooked with the lime leaves before, picked up some dried ones at asian food store a bit ago to try some thai recipes I saw....they're freakn' awesome! I also have never cooked with lemon grass before, while I knew it was tough stuff I thought I could work it into the salad. Nope, too tough. Yeah, avacados make everything more awesome. I was paying $2 each in VT, here I can get them for $.50 I got these for 50 cents each, which is why I picked them up. I still have one more though and not sure what to do with it. Carefully remove the pit and eat it with a spoon?

Wait, you probably don't even everything on tortillas, either. Cool light lunch with avocados is to halve them, remove the seed [obligatory doc joke here], and then make hash marks with a knife through the flesh. You then drizzle lime juice, chili powder, maybe some sriracha, even a teeny bit of tequila into the hash marks, and then scoop out the goodness and eat it with a spoon. It isn't GU if the knife was sticking out of my hand. gnu ruleguideline

It is discolored, rubbery, and has a weird plasticky aftertaste that is similar to cheap box wine. Of course, your cold northern gut could just be unused to the finer delicacies of tropical Central Mexico. Best stick to the Poutine next thyme. There is some classy wine that comes in a box that is not labeled Franzia. I've always been a fan of Blackbox. Redbox + Blackbox= in home date night

In other news, I just got five 22oz stone brewing co bottles for $3 a plug. A pair of Ruinations, a pair of A_Bz(rip bo cizBLL etc etc), and a sublimely self-righteous ale, which I am currently drinking. Not bad for a stop in the gas station.

ERRRRRRG!!!1 Just got oft teh phone with Big Tony. Turns owt teh slimeball weasle guidebook sluts are at it again. It's not like, Tony and I didn't make ourselves perfectly clear last tyme... We both told Tom, Louie, Kevin and Marty that we dun't wunt our gnu shitz in teh guidebook! So nau our info is sought behind our backs. Guess, Tom didn't figure Tony and I were friends or that I knew Louie wus taking Tom around to look at teh local areas. Tony recieved a E-mail from Tom asking for topos ov my gnu shitz. Then moments later Tony gets a e-mail from Louie asking for topos of his gnu shitz... so he cood go check it owt. Tony said he wasn't giving owt topos but he wood meet Louie owt there to show him around... but Louie doesn't want to meet Tony owt there, he just wunts teh topos. I'm telling ewe... guidebook authors are teh scum ov teh earth.
