Went skiing today, and abandoned the monkeys to Hyalite. The avalanche conditions were fucking terrifying in Hyalite, and the local ski area got 26" of powder over night. I made the right decision.

Almost as soon as we got on the road we knew it was a bit of a mistake but we got up there okay, almost got stuck in the parking lot, and got back down okay....but we wouldn't do it again.

I skied fore 20yrs before I got on a board and it is hands down moar fun in teh deep snow than teh skis. Living in Metah it only makes sense to clip bolts, plug gear, ski, and snowboard.

I was hugging teh side of teh run watching this chick expecting her to turn, when she didn't I went left and at teh last second she did too. She was going slow enough that she just tipped over but I on teh other hand cartwheeled and hyper extended both my thumbs.
