Well now you can get back to focusing on what you do best:

drinking alone.

Heh. I was climbing with a dude from Golden in the creek. He was talking about how he loved the Golden Brewing company, and how 'some of the best drinking in the world goes on there.'

I'd kind of like to see what great beer drinking looks like.

I've noticed you've been buying a bunch of gear, not using it and then claiming to have no money....

Ipitythefool to marry into your credit rating!!Crazy

Not using it? Hmm...pretty sure I'm going climbing tomorrow...

Besides, I paid cash.
where?

they're from a rental fleet at a local shop, except that most were never used. they're 07-08 vasque m-possibles, which means they have the boa system....I have mixed feelings about that, but once I have my axe arm on I can't tie my own boots, so having a one-handed mitten friendly lacing system is pretty awesome for me. Plus, I've never heard and real horror stories of the steel cables breaking in the field.

You want a pair? eh?
I'd take a pair! And I think the narrow fit would work for Nathan too....though he'd need size 12.

A japanese akita. i think Burly must have some of this in him - the bindle, the socks, the black spots on the socks, the very white tip of his tail.

If that dog and a beagle had a baby, it would be my pup:

Lots of dogs have that white. Could just as easily be boarder collie.

Make shure you have LOTS of organic compost and fertilizer in the top layers... helps get the nutrients direct to the roots without too much hassle in the cold. Like having the fridge right next to the couch when it's too cold to get up.
I missed this post earlier. Peas are also a cold weather crop, I think I still have some growing in my garden. Onions too, and garlic.

To a lesser extent: lettuce, beets and carrots.

If you live on a boat on a public watercourse, do you have to pay property taxes?

The boat would be taxed by the DMV (at least in CA). You would not pay property tax on the slip, as it is a lease. The marina has to pay property tax.

who said anything about a slip.

That, or the simple fact that this looks nussink like Bear's Reach.

A japanese akita. i think Burly must have some of this in him - the bindle, the socks, the black spots on the socks, the very white tip of his tail.

If that dog and a beagle had a baby, it would be my pup:

The boat would be taxed by the DMV (at least in CA). You would not pay property tax on the slip, as it is a lease. The marina has to pay property tax.

You know Red Green lives on a boat in our habour because he can't afford a house. Pretty sad.
Are you serious?
Why not? That show rocked.

Eat shit,
Matt

If you live on a boat on a public watercourse, do you have to pay property taxes?

The boat would be taxed by the DMV (at least in CA). You would not pay property tax on the slip, as it is a lease. The marina has to pay property tax.

who said anything about a slip.

My mistake. In the absence of a slip, he is subject to the Law of the Sea.Pirate

Red Green is a Somali pirate?
Off the coast of Somalia they have pirates?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSBoO4GzHaI

Kinda funny, but not up to snuff with the south park episode on Somali pirates.
I was thinking cute more than funny.

Chives.. brocolli... cabbage...umm spinnach!

Peas huh? Good to know. I have planted turnips, carrots and onions. Maybe I will add some peas. Don't care for beetz.

Probably not.

I only did one route of quasi note: Got back on Directissma after hanging on it years ago and sent it with forearms burning.

The rap rope also got stuck yesterday and I had to climb back up to free it....twice! on the same rap! First one I had to lead back to the previous anchors, the second time it was at a mid point ledge.

they're from a rental fleet at a local shop, except that most were never used. they're 07-08 vasque m-possibles, which means they have the boa system....I have mixed feelings about that, but once I have my axe arm on I can't tie my own boots, so having a one-handed mitten friendly lacing system is pretty awesome for me. Plus, I've never heard and real horror stories of the steel cables breaking in the field.

You want a pair? eh?
I'd take a pair! And I think the narrow fit would work for Nathan too....though he'd need size 12.

what size would you be? they are mens sizing...or go euro. Were you only borrowing them last year?

I'll call the shop and check on sizes and see that it wasn't a one day only thing.

Nathan is a 46.5, and he actually needs a new pair of boots.

Actually, I have the M-possible SS (though I think they were demo pre-production boots, the tongue digs into my ankles), but if they're as cheap as you're saying I could get a second pair. I'm a 42 or 8-8.5mens.

Are these the boots?

Hmmm, I've got a problem. We were going to rent a plate compactor for a few hours to finish up the walk way but things are a little wet outside. The compactor was to be used to level out the pavers and then to help vibrate the polymeric sand into the joints.

So the problem is if the polymeric sand gets wet then it starts to activate. I don't think I can do this until things dry out....and things aren't drying out very fast.

Every time we fly to visit clausti's family it is as pretty lame experience; we have to fly into Orlando. Disney World. We have to fly with fucking overweight consumptive corporatized drones on their family pilgrimage to Disney World. Gargh. Feed them to the gators, dammit.

I have long believed that flying into Orlando is one of the worst fucking flights in the US. I makes me want to punch babies.
