Whenever you're climbing on very steep terrain, the key to keeping tension between your hands and feet, which will help you keep your feet on, is to not get too stretched out. Keep your feet relatively close to your hands - this will allow you to push to the next hold without your body getting super stretched out. When you get stretched out on steep terrain, you have to rely on your core a lot more. Hope that helps some.

i climb as a place called sportrock in VA. I really like it, granted i have only been like 2 places, but of the two its much better than the other in san diego i went to.
