Might be in teh valley next weekend. sounds like a rather disgraceful weke end. Well I did manage to rp a project on friday and got 10 pitches, so it wasn't a total loss.

Was planning to go, up until the last moment, but CO guy has exams, Banz didn't want to go to the Red bc it looked like rain, and with the forecast getting worse and worse I couldn't find anyone to carpool with, except for the one girl who I really don't like. And if she and I were going together it would have meant not just carpooling, but also climbing with her, and my patience is not that great these days. So, despite T. waving arms and jumping up and down and shouting about how great the LOTA is becoming under his care, and how much I would love his company, I decided to bail. And that opened up Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights for... (Cover your eyes, you have been warned)... DANCING!!!!! Let's just say that it was a glorious weekend with a lot of interesting experiences, and leave it at that. There was a mighty meaty band of percepitation showing up on the radar from Texas, up to Ontario and continuing up to Northern Quebec even. The rain was weird though. Rained all day Sat in St. Catharines, but had stopped by 11am just an hour West of us.

oh, yeah ... finally went and put together a stick clip yesterday. The one issue is that the spring clamp might be too strong ... I got the weakest one I could find from the box, but it's still going to be a pain in the ass to rip it off the draw/rope. does that just weaken over time, or is there some specific type of spring clamp that isn't as strong?

Just wrap a lot of duck tape around the ends, and the draw will slip off better.

A certain someone that I know thought that Poland was in Western Europe, since obviously Hitler invaded it right before France, so it must have been on the way from Germany.
