Oh, and several topix back, but Beccs and Lena both look better with longer (shoulder length) hair. Biner definitely is more of a long-hair wearer, too. I would assume that kel is as well. So, that's my opinion, man, from a dude who doesn't really matter.

I don't think it is either. But I agree that the short hair that looks cool on dribble doesn't look cool on me.

Anyho, elipticals sound kind of cool for getting cardio without the jarring. Or, cycling. Yeah. I've been considering checking out the campus gym's options for legless cardio machines. Dun't werry about teh pain in yore knees.... It just get worse. Knee, ankle, and hip in my good leg hurt. Mostly from all the hopping. heh.... it's tru. When I tore my lt biceps a couple ov seasons back, and wus getting back into it, I wus compensating with my rt arm. By teh tyme teh lt arm wus feeling better my rt arm wus pretty torn up. And when ever my knee acts up, by teh tyme it gets better, my other knee is acting up. kinda reminds me ov teh 'Phil' commercial... 'What are ewe compensating fer? No, I dun't even wunt to no' Again, knot to werry.... it just get worse. So, what yore saying is that I should just give up right now, hang up my shoes and chawknag, and get a supertopo account... Well, while this iz my standard recumdation fer most ov teh losers I noes.... In yore case, this iz knot korect. I still have high hopes fer ewe. My plan iz.... given teh stars line up and I am actually reasonably uninjured, is to con ewe in to sumthin grand, open yore eyes to what iz possible, help ewe succeed and then live vicariously thru yore acomplishments. Guess we'll sea how that awl werks owt. That sounds awesome. I still need to do some future former radness. Yea well, just so we are clear... Well, the shorts are different weight fabric than the T-shirts. The block that is made out of shorts will be much stiffer and will stick out, so I would say that it is a bad idea to combine them. You can have some variability in the fabric weight, especially if the blocks are smaller and you can cut multiple blocks from each t-shirt/shorts, but it won't work that way with the 'vous T-shirts bc the whole point would be to cut the blocks big enough to see the logo as a whole. If you really want to make it a 'climbing-related' quilt and throw in those shorts, instead of making it a 'vous T-shirt quilt, then you need to pick a sturdy backing fabric and build everything on that backing, that way the difference in fabric weight won't be a big deal. But it would require more complicated layout than just a plain T-shirt quilt. And also, for whatever quilt you decide, you would need some cotton fabric in non-busy color that will go with the shirts for the borders. And lightweight non-woven fusible interfacing. And then either fleece of batting+backing to turn this into either a blanket or a quilt. If some relatives have a fabric stash, might be a good place to raid. Hmm, taking the shirts to the thrift store is sounding more and more appealing. Yes.... this ^ iz korect. This is true, I don't think it comes down to something as simple as face shape, it's more just how the person carries him or herself. Lena and Drivel have not dissimilar faces; they're both very toned, less angled than round, prominent noses (ducks fists). But Drivel looks good with short hair, and Lena doesnt.
Even still, there are times that Drivel has cut her hair too short, and it didn't look good.

'I am a new climber and recently purchased my first pair of climbing shorts and climbed in them for the first time. I know climbing shorts are supposed to be tight, so I purchased a half size down (size 28) at the urging of the climbing instructor who helped me, but I'm wondering just where the line is between appropriate tight and too tight. I managed to do short indoor climbs in them before my nads were in excruciating pain. By the 3rd climb, I was in so much pain that I could not focus on the climb and had to hold back tears. I could have done more climbs but chose not to because I just wanted to saw my nuts off at that point. My sack continued hurting intensely for an hour or two after I took off the shorts. Is that sort of pain normal until you break in climbing shorts or does that mean that they are too small? Any advice appreciated.'
