What are you talking about? I look like the wizened old crag master that I am used to be. By partner was running up a 5.5 to get us to the top so we could rap in and scrub a new line (we cleaned two). He hasn't placed any pro yet, so no need to holdz the rope yet. The new line will take a line up the highest part of the cliff, on an left angling outside corner that drops off to climber's left to a precipitous blocky corner full of death blocks. We knocked off some killer trundles that exploded in clouds of granite dust and shrapnel covering the base trail.

More like 98.7%, and chances are good that there would be no one else there. The locals are kinda skittish about having ice-loosened granite blocks the size of VW engines raining down around them. Cowards.

I would even have jumped on my unfinished .11d proj if the key footholds weren't soaked in snowmelt. Now to get some snow-munching rain storms, like we're anticipating on the morrow, to rid the last vestiges of snow so I can log some serious mileage prior to leaving. My lead head didn't seem to suffer too badly after the winter break.
