The Misty Mountain Cadillac is shown as having the old style, non slip buckles, just like the Metolius Safe Tech. It was my second choice option ... its advantage was the 2 waist buckles for better centering.

The slipping with my Petzl may just have been due to age and wear, although the leg loops have been slipping for a long time. Not sure how old it was.

Yes, the Misty has the older style. I bought partially to by local, when I was living in NC, but was very satisfied.

It was a little on the heavy side (I think the Safe Tech is a little lighter), but had a great fit regardless of the cloths I was wearing (from summer to winter).

I looked at the specs on the SafeTech, but was not able to find one to try here in Germany. Looks like a nice harness!
