Get your washer on rinse-cycle ready.
Run one cycle to clear the drum, then run the rope through a few times, at least it will agitate a little and get the "cleaner" out.

where do you leave it to dry?
Mine have taken up to a week to dry in the past. Since I don't have a good indoor space to leave it for a week, it always seemed inconvenient.

I did agitate it by hand a lot. But based on the feel, seams to need more.
Top loading ok?
Gentle or regular cycle? gentle is actually slower on my machine.
Warm Water ok?
spin dry ok?
couple of times? wow!

every thing is a walk approach. at least do something fun and easy at the Bridge.

working on the business plan. any advice? yeah, I did business and strategic plans for Boston Children's Hospital for years, but this is different. Looking for some tricks to the plan that an artist would want to include or not include.
Had a productive day. Finished two paintings and made good progress on another. Will start another painting, I hope, tomorrow as well. it's a holiday here tomorrow, so I got all day.
Fingers are crossed the rain clears for good light to take good photos of the newest pieces of art.

Never had a business plan other than to price things so that the client gasps, swallows hard, and then says, "OK." I was more concerned with doing interesting work and keeping the integrity of the process; I kinda sucked at being overly profitable. The business side bored me.
I don't like it either (part of the reason why I'm not doing that stuff anymore), but at this point I need it.

Quick question. How is the climbing and skiing in your neck of the woods? Close/far, lots/little, easy/hard?
The reason I ask. We are having issues at my work location. While I haven't been actively looking for new employeement, I have looked at the different things that do end up coming my way unsolicited. ie linkedin. Turns out there are some jobs in the Richland area.

prepped a couple of canvases for work later. kind of excited about two particular projects. added two new piece of art to the site, too. one turned out pretty nice in spite of my inability to take a good picture of it (it has straight lines and I need the camera angle to be perfect to preserve those lines in the photo - didn't happen) and the other is a little disappointing. I thought it would be better than it was, but it just doesn't feel right. I think I'm going to paint another version.
This one I discovered via therapy. Yeah, seriously. My therapist asked me to paint about my childhood, so this is the one I did for the first seven years. Yes, the lines are straight in the original.

And this one I'm waiting back from the owner of the flamenco school I go to for drawing to get some info from her before I officially name it. At the moment, it's simply named "Flamenco" but I think it will be "Sevillana" or "Sevillanos"

tipping some highland park today. holiday here and the lady is down south for a conference with her students. i'm painting / drawing all day and hoping to take advantage of the time off.
