Snot is the grease that lubes the channels of communications. Works well IMO.

stevecurtis wrote: Pretty snotty title. Agreed, I copy/pasted the the title exactly as the other earlier one that was whacked/killed by an unnamed moderator. For no apparent reason. Go to this link: http://www.rockclimbing.com/..._latest_reply;so=ASC So then you agree that the first amendment sucks and nobody really needs nor should have free speech? Good for you. Got any climbing pictures? If not, STFU and stop being a douchbag. ______________________________________________ This is for the solid dude Dave Stephans. Dave, we are picking the plums from your backyard haha. This 1200' now 1/2 way climbed face is getting done for the first time. Not as many bolts as Hells canyon, but a shitload for sure anyway. My piss poor shoulders and attitude notwithstanding, hope to get it finished next year, gonna close out this year as the rain/cold is about here and the deer and elk hunters certainly are - good times. Route is now right at the top of the photo and to the left of the roofs at that fur patch. Last trip up, a squirrel suitor about to jump chose to pitch a rock over to clear the launch spot. Oh, he yelled "rock", and oh, it whacked me in the chest for sure:-0 Had my helmet too high up, it was on my head. ____________________________________________________
wideguy wrote: I just wanted to be included. I have nothing to add. Haha. Nice pitch! Welcome aboard, you got more than most of us and in fact, most assuredly more substance and interesting way to say it than that whining douchbag up there complaining about the title^^^^LOL. Any climbing shots?

Well said ^. I miss the vibrancy and relevance of the old RC.com. I don't miss some of the ass hat attack mentality some posters had, but they were a small minority and often added needed counterpoint. http://www.sales.care

It was a yin/yang that fed the worm oroboros. but another thing that has killed it is how damn risky all this social media shee is. People are leaving the SM or transferring to footbook the giant that eats all, the wallmart of the social self publishers. Snow white and the 7 dwarves sites. There can only be one. But the risk thisng is unreal. DAmn a lot of nuts in the sport, guys who want control for money. Making it, taking it. Then there are the stalkers, guys who hate what you say, no matter which side you are on, you will piss off somebody, and the wound is there in print forever. Nobody respects the avatar as a gentlemans veil, the ficticious psuedonym that would allow people to explore TWO sides, make two arguments even for just the cause of exploring the argument. Someone has to take the less popular side, in debates the counter and the direct argument are assigned. No chpoise. Dont argue a conservative point here, you are going be lonely. The liberal perfume is still strong. But some guys will PUNISH you for honesty, much less devoious behavious. Its like a snake or a crocodile, you can't tell if its dead, it can still bite in an instant after sitting motionless for days. Who can risk posting in an environment like this? 5 years after you post something, somebody decides you said something wrong and need to be punished? I'm fucking showing a autistic/compulsive streak for even writing this. And so are you, dear brother climbing zombie posters.

No, J, off topic, conversational, or comedic posts that do anything to make the forum less like a wiki article are BAD for the forums' activity and is what KILLS websites. I know this because the mods told me, and clearly they know how to keep a website alive. ayyyyyy
