as far as his training and techniques mostly consist of things he learned from his mentor. to give you a little history, Chuck Norris Onsighted Necessary Evil, The mandala, Realization, Dreamcatcher, Es Pontas, Jumbo Love, and Pachamama all in the same day. He then gave Chris Sharma the beta on those routes and how to train for them. There's a few other projects that Chuck is showing Chris but from what i understand, chris is a bit reluctant because he said they are "inhumanly difficult".

Well it is sort of interesting that Sharma seems to be doing the same thing for the past 6 years (I don't mean literally; I mean he's still traveling the world as a sponsored climber and doing stuff at the cutting edge of difficulty).
I'm not sure you can that about any other climber, certainly very few.
In other words he's been able to stay at the top of the game for a long time. Cheers for him.
