Just went out to Hunters Rock today outside of State College. Wonderful area. Pretty warm but today is the first I've been out there and was simply exploring most of the time. Looks like some good climbing. PM me if you wanna go check it out.

OH YES! best approach ever...thought i should just turn around and go home after i got up there (pant pant). However, I did go again today and worked a few problems I spotted yesterday...lots more to go though. I'll prob. keep "going up" after work on nice days...maybe i'll see a few of you out there!
Peace
-Rob

Hey PA climbers,
I'm visiting central PA this weekend and a friend told me about some sport climbing near york/harrisburg. I forgot the name of the place and the dbase doesn't seem to have anything that fits the description.

Any ideas what area he was talking about?
Thanks!

He guys i found a place to climb on the western side of PA that is not on the list but i would like to know if some one would meet me there this coming weekend to see if it is even worth climbing. It looks like some petty hard shit. some is not so bad like there is some bouldering and then there is some shit that is like over 100 feet i think. would like to have some one that can teach me. right now i have just been bouldering out there. Well give me a call 814-445-1329 ask for Jordan Custer.

Thanx
Jordan

FYI Canyon Country Climbers(not a real organization - yet) Some of us are camping out at Stoney Fork Tues/Weds for some cleaning and climbing. I think we're heading to Mocanaqua after that on Thurs. Anyone interested?
