Can't Post

I love my airlock autolock harness 'biners. They also scare the crap outta me.
Last year while rapping a route, at the midway rap station I inadvertantly completely clipped out of the anchors while trying to deal with the mess (daisy chains, harness 'biners, etc.) of 3 climbers clipped into the same anchors. The big hugs from Sonso45 and Crackaddict were all that kept my ass off the tallus while I clipped back in. It seems that I have become so adept at clipping in and out with autolockers that I can do two at once  (or at least it seemed that way)
I still love autolockers on my harness, and they have become such a part of my physical memory that when, after the FUBAR mentioned above, I tried to switch back to screw gates I would forget to lock them at the gym. I have now painted my harness/daisy biners bright BMW cinnabar red as a reminder to not opperate on autopilot at rap stations (and elsewhere). This is the complacency issue with me.
