My dad met him a couple years ago working for nasa in DC. He said the guy was an arrogant prick.

You mean the profile pic didn't give me away, Jen? I'm not trying to hide. Sorry you had to hear my story twice though.
Anyways, update: I MET Bill Nye, the Science Guy!
He was pretty cool. You know, in the sort of geek way you'd expect. He told us about his new series "Nye's Eyes," and talked about nuclear safety a bit. Seemed like a nice enough guy - not at all an "arrogant prick," and really funny, and chatty.
