We'll be honeymoning in Noordhoek village, South Africa - about 30 minutes outside of Cape Town (via Toronto, Ontario Canada) this November. Looking for a good place to climb (between 5.7 - 5.11, trad, sport). Any suggestions?

Thanks...

yea, tons of them-i just spent my january climbing in cape town and i lived in noordhoek.
are you looking for trad or sport? if sport, they just came out (like january) with a new sport guidebook for the area, check it out. but here are the places to visit nearby (i.e. within a 20 minute drive)
the mine, the hole, silvermine main cliff, silvermine fawlty towers
for trad try elsie's peak

check out my photos, all but two of my photos are from capetown.

Why would you climb during your honeymoon?

There's also Paarl Rock and Hellfire Crag( Awesome) that are about 30 to 45 minutes outside of Cape Town. The guide book is called Western Cape Rock by Tony Lourens. Also check out www.climbing.co.za for specific info on the area. Enjoy :D
