The guy I went to Jtree with in December had Chestnut colored Uggs, with an embroidery tape running up the back. And they were so old and softly worn....and - the ulitmate dirtbag - he had an old ratty duct tape patch on one....
Not ugly. At all.

Ahh well I can see where things get lost in the translation. We call em Ugg Boots. They were indeed invented over here. Trouble is that they are now known generically as Ugg Boots. The problem being that an American has recently patented this generic name and is wanting to licence the name back to the original manufacturer of Ugg Boots here in Oz. Oh the indignity of it all. Gold darned gold digging chiseler. Original manufacturer is not a happy chappy.

The guys on the track team and I were discussing the merits of girls wearing Uggs and miniskirts the other day.
Our conclusion: A unanimous "damn, that's ugly."
It seems to be the rage here in Chico. :wtf: The only saving grace is that there are an equal number of attractive women wearing miniskirts sans Uggs.

I want to apologize to anyone I may have hurt, both clausti and toons. It was a major fuckup on my part. I'm sorry.
For the peanut gallery, I'm not trying to save face (who does that with a public admission of guilt anyways, just wanted to let you all know that I discussed this issue with all parties involved, and it has been solved to the satisfaction of all.
EDIT: and, I learned my lesson. Too bad it had to be the hard way. Never make that mistake again! :shock:

humm, can't say that I saw many of those worn around while I was still in SD. and now that I'm in Toronto I definitely have not seen anyone wearing those. could be the 30 degree weather, eh?
either way, marriage is not in my cards for a long time, but thanks for offering, it always feels good 8^)

I will definitally agree with that... although considering that my wife and I started dating in the first place because of my "inner lout", I'd have to say I'm guilty. I'm a flirt by nature... I like having fun... most of my friends have always been girls... but I have yet (in 11 years together) been temped so much to consider stepping out on my wife. Is there a theoretical "tasty enough treat" to make me consider acting on it? Sure... I think we would all be lying if we said there wasn't. (It just depends how "tasty" you find the "treat" you're currently with.) Is there any chance in hell that said treat would give me the time of day? I'd have to say it would be very slim at best.
