truly, hate is not the opposite of love. but indiffence is.
#3 and i are o.v.e.r., and i am working on acheiving the nirvanna of complete and utter indiffernce that he seems to have already attained. with any luck, said indiffernce will last forever, sorry boys.
ohyeah, and ITS REALLY SHITTY TO SAY "i like you as a friend" and then REFUSE THE FRIEND CONFIRMATION ON FACEBOOK.
GOSH.
ok so i'm not indifferent yet. i'm still pissed.

huh? Although you have to understand there are different kinds of friends.
anywho, I like how you refer to him by number, it probably helps with the indifference thing. sh!tty it happened right before spring break too :(
but anyways, I definitely agree that hate is not the opposite of love, since hate implies some sort of attraction/concern/obsession, even though it is for bad and not for good. Indifference would be the closest thing to an opposite of love, although as I've found and many others no doubt have as well, when you attempt to quiet and calm your emotions, the slightest evidence/memory/thought of love, or loss thereof, becomes amplified and rocks you like a hurricane :shock:

Does mistreating or deceiving other men (who, BTW, had nothing to do w/ ex #3) help you to salvage your flagging self-esteem? How many guys does it take for you to accomplish this - 5, 10, 20? How many random innocents do you need to vent yourself on before it's enough? This monster begets the monster.
9/10th of the time, they're drunk. will never remember. and IF they do, and actually cared in the first place, they will call me. [exchange, you see]. ::tilts head to side so hair falls out of eyes:: i've yet to have a guy who approached me in a coffeeshop or bar EVER call me after having asked for my number. if they did, then maybe i'd give them the time of the day.
and it usually only takes one for the evening. or the other night i didnt get a phone number but me and this older gentleman did have a fascinating intellectual discussion on world politics and the problems with the health care system in the country after he saw me being frustrated with my biochem hw.
nothing says sexy like high heels and a biochem textbook. rowr.

No you're probably right , he's probably not. If he was he likely wouldn't be an "ex." Doesn't make him a bad guy, just makes hime one of many unable to handle the "ex" thing well.
