I set up my first slackline rigging today about 2 feet off the ground. All i know is this.. as soon as i step on it, my legs shake around like crazy. But i'm stoked. My 2 year old daughter (She's already been bouldering, i'll post a pic) is loving it! Her balance is insane! (I'll post a pic) the kids got it down better than me. I really dont know why i'm posting this, I just am. Peaze frawg

Try to be very deliberate about stepping on. I started out with my line running through a step ladder, this way all I had to do was start walking. Getting on the line from the ground is still very hard. Your daughter doesn't have to go to work tomorrow so what does she have to fear? Without fear slacklining wouldn't be a whole lot of fun but would be easy! It is a good way to waste a day with the kids isn't it, soon your yard will be knee deep in grass the car will be dirty and you and the whole family will know how to slackline! I don't know about the rest of you but I am totally obsessed! Jeff

I just learned how to slackline this last week at camp 4 in Yosemite. Talk about being inferior in slackline world. Those guys there can do some amazing stuff. My leg did the same thing. I got over it by just standing on the line quicker. It goes away once you start doing it more. I know what you mean krusty. I am obsessed with it too now! Have fun! I love slacking. I started with a rope from a tree to mount. Gets really shaky when you first try one foot. Can't wait to get a highline set up.
