I know it's not the most interesting question out there, but it is one that always seems to get brought up when I start talking to some of my horse loving friends. SO here is the question: Which is more practical(and why), a horse, or a ATV? Agape

I don't have either, but i'd say an ATV because with a horse, you have to buy food, and have a stable or somthing, you have to take care of it, and you have to buy a horse trailer if you want to carry it long distances. more cost in the long run. with an ATV, all you need is money to buy gas and maintenence once in a while and a pickup truck.

ATVs leave trails. Horses leave GIANT piles of crap. I say walk.

Yeah, thats kind of what I am always saying too. Horses are so expensive, and so high maintenance. The make a mess( a big mess), and they stink. 4x4s can be more expensive to purchase, but they cost a lot less to maintain.

I've had both, and both certainly have their place! I am highly pissed though, because I opened this thread under the pretenses that it would be full of some really gross pics of a collision between a horse and a 4x4, but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I wasted my precious time for this... :boring: Next time, please post something from rotton.com!
