Yeah yeah moan and complain amber blah blah.J But yes we had an awesome trip caving that night was really cool except for the ants that got my camel back when we left it at the entrance. And those stupid nats that I never could get out of my ear OH YEAH that was the rock creaking and cracking cooling down from the hot day. It was my entire fault for not bringing the hackey SORRY rub it in why doesn’t ya. Everybody was great and you did a killer job climbing I was very impressed and learned a lot from you guys out there. The bop-it was way cool THANKS SAURON sorry I didn’t get a chance to meet you wish I could have but I know you guys were in a hurry to get out of there. The slack line was HARD I love it though I think I will have to put one in the back yard so I can practice for the next time because I REALLY NEED IT. Though I feel I did well on the pass the package game I THINK??? We have to really get into next time.
But thanks to all for the knowledge that I have gotten from this trip and wishes for many more like it. Well except for the whole key in the trunk thing.

Okay, can you believe it .. I'm at a loss for words here .. I had so much fun that I can barely express myself, or is it from being so tired and sore?
Either way, lots of fun .. Bop-it, slacklines, night time caving adventures, not to mention the climbing and "easy" approaches .. fun stuff. No ninja hacky, though, my reputation preceeded me. Oh well ..
And, you guys get the "making Amber climb the hardest" award .. I slept for 12 hours straight and am still sore and tired.

Ya i had a large time out there It amazed me how you can be decent/good at the gym but totally suck on the rock hehe but its ok i learned alot and of course had a fun time, thanks everyone

You did great, dude ... it's all the more reason to get out on real rock more often .. you will eventually learn to see those 'shelves' that are the size of a small matchbox.

Had a great time meeting everyone finally! Amber, thanks for the guidebook, been looking for several years for one. I will start a thread later this summer to organize a trip to Continental Ranch. Hope everyone will be able to make it. Drop me a PM if you have some dates in mind. Most of July is a writeoff for me with work but August looks fine. I know it will be hot but we can just suck it up and have some fun.

Hum, it was decided by my partner, his gf and me - that most outdoor climbing activity be suspended 'till September-ish, due to the heat...
But I might be tricked into going out, you never know..

hey, i had a great time with yall down at e-rock, too bad i missed the slack line tho, ill have to try it nex time. speaking of nex time, whens the next trip . Btw did anyone get any pics put up on the site form our trip?

I highly recommend finding sometime when the moon is large-ish..
The lack of scathing heat at night, was nice..

I'm glad everyone had such a good time. It was an awesome trip but man was I sore on Mon. It was well worth it!
Coach, I'm sure all of us would love to get together and climb again. Just remember a bunch of us will probably go to OK in late Aug. I hope all of y'all can make it. We need some good old Texas climbers to show those boys in OK how it's done.
Caujun-you are officially deemed a Texan with all rights and privileges (arrogance and braging rights basically)
I have gotten some photo's developed but I'm still working on using up another roll that has some better pictures. I'll try and get them scanned soon and post them up. If I have a specific one of you I'll PM ya. Then we can exchange e-mails or if you live in the area maybe we can meet up and I'll give to ya.
Can't wait for the next trip, and keep climbing so those pesky "5.8's" aren't so hard

Yep-great times and for sure great people. Night Climbing damn we forgot to do that or were we just to lazy????:) Humm I wonder?? Nahh we had too much other fun stuff to do. Slack line slack line I love you lah lah lah or something like that:). About the pics. I am going to work on getting them up while I am on vacation uhhhh I think I will anyways. Its hard for me to get out of Houston sometimes but you guys let me know when your going and I will see if I can get a yard pass from the wife:). Ok people keep it real and I will be thinking about you guys while I am on the beach sippin on a cold one.

Eh, I think that everyone was too tired to climb after the caving, bouldering, listening to the rock experience.
Of course, it's always a good excuse to go back down there ..
Also, Dom, isnt there some climbing near water somewhere around Reimers? Maybe we can climb early, swim, eat, sleep, climb, swim, eat, sleep .. ok, you see where this is going .. it's a nice cycle designed to avoid any activity during the heat of the day.

Yeps, Reimer's is right on the Pedernales river...
It's also conveniently near Hamilton Pool, which is a very nice swimming area..

If there is thought about a trip to Reimers some time this summer, my home is only about a 20-30 minute drive. I'm sure that I could handle some campers out back around the bar-b-cue grill. I beleive that the owner at Reimers does not allow swimming. It is private property so you would need to heed the rules to not jeopardize future usage. Reimers is also a short distance from the Mansfield dam and there is camping, swimming, etc there. It is busy in the summer though. I would definitely be up for a get together at Reimers sometime.

hehe i get to goto Lawton, OK next weekend that should be a fun trip we have some motels this time so no hot at night so i can actually sleep, AND i can sleep without MO'S SNORING.. you're a bag of air man so that should be nice too hehe
