god damn it.
was bouldering whole day yesterday, now my hand palms feel like they are on fire! what do you guys do to prevent that burning feeling on the next day?

no pain, no gain, bro.. get some lotion and moisturize those dried, chalky digits and palms and then go climbin again! callouses will build eventually..

I use that Badger Hand Lotion. Stuff Works great. Also Epsom salts and hot water help tons at the end of the day also.

sholdnt you not use moisturiising lotion?? i mean doesnt that make the hands all soft again...which isnt good...cause you want them to become hard and tough??

to the original poster..i know the feeling...ii dont do anything...it usually goes away after a days rest...

My hands feel like that at the beginning of the season, or after I take a couple weeks off. I don't do anything, and after a couple trips, my hands are like leather.

I use Iron Hand Linement originally devolped for Thai boxing to speed up recovery time works great for sore hands and digits.
