just saw an interesting discussion on supertopo, what's this i hear about a bolt being placed on the lower section of Double Cross in Jtree this past sunday? is it true? who placed it? why?

Jason, go to climbingjtree.com and read the posts below the route discussion. Seems this bolt gets placed/chopped rather regularly.

This troll comes up every season. There is no bolt on Double Cross. If an of these stories where true there would be many hole and chopped junk at the bottom of Double Cross. Go take a look. That climb doesn't need one at all.
