I made a one-day roadie to the Ditch last Friday(6-21) and met up with the group from AZ. Had an absolute blast! Chris(crackaddict) lived up to his name. I followed him around on the crack climbs including Moby Dick Center at the base of the Salathe on El Cap. Shelley(rock_diva) is an incredible climber also, as was Chris's 16 year-old nephew Mitch. Flagstaff_climber went off to get some food after the first climb and I never saw him again-had fun visting with him. Shelley and Chris are two of the coolest and nicest people you would ever want to meet. Their climbing made me look like I was still struggling to get up the jungle gym in gradeschool! Looking forward to meeting up with Chris for Nutcracker and Royal Arches. Click here for a few photos from the trip. [ This Message was edited by: jmlangford on 2002-06-26 21:43 ]

Thanks Jody! Meeting up with you was great! Don't let him fool you guys he can climb good. He even added a new variation to Moby Dick. Not sure what he rated it! But he will tell you. Jody is a great person to know and is truely good people! If you have not met him yet then you are missing out! We loved all your photos Jody. I don't think Rick liked the ones with the snow in them though. You guys are missing out till you have seen the Langford photo album. Tons of awsome photos with a story behind them all. We enjoyed all the photos and all the stories Jody. If you meet him ask him to show you the rack of original pitons forged by Yvon Chouinard. There is a story behind them as well. I will let him tell you though. Thank you Jody! I look forward to climbing with you this fall! Good luck on Mt. Conness! Wow - it was an amazing day... if you ever get a chance to look through Jody's photos and hear the stories... do it! Couldn't ask for better climbing partners than we had that day. Hope to do it again sometime!
