I'm coming over to the New Hampshire area in August for a few months. I'm looking at training to be a guide and i was hoping to do an internship of some sort first. I'm travelling from Ireland so i was just wondering if anyone could give me the names or contact details of some of the climbing schools in that area. Thanks for your help. Niall

As Edge mentioned, North Conway is where you'll find what you are loking for. I'd stay as far away from the EMS as I could. I know nothing about the Mountain Guides Alliance, but I can vouge for the IME cources. Even though I have not been able to take any of their cources, I have researched IME and EMS and it was IME hands down.

Go for it ... I envy you!
