Seems some jugheads with trundling on their obviously pea-sized minds TOPPLED the top block from the Devil's Chair, a Taylor's Falls landmark since (probably) before recorded history. THANKS MUCH, sewage-for-brains!!! Regrettably, I don't think any of the perps were maimed / killed...the ranger I spoke with said they (the rangers) have a lot of work to do to stabilize the area...
The thoughtlessness & lack of respect are appalling...don't know what else to say....
Oh yeah, the "Piece of Cake" area on the MN Strip is STILL CLOSED per the ranger, so if you have been, STOP CLIMBING THERE!!!!
(Only) positive note....ranger also stated it WAS NOT climbers who destroyed the Chair, just regular morons....
