Hey Guys,
I will be in the NY area around May 28- June 7 or so. I would like to climb at the Gunks and need some beta:
where is the best place to stay? i have no trouble bivying or camping as long as my stuff won't get jacked.
do i need to rent a car or is the public transport ridiculously good and parking prohibitively expensive?
how easy is it to hook up w/ partners? or go....uhmmm.....bouldering if need be?
I will probably find the cheapest airport, eg philly and rent a real cheap car then drive up. I need to be in NYC for a wedding Th and Fri first week of June.

YO ASCANIO! DUDE I'm in NYC for school, and while school gets out on May 9th, I'll still be around till June 14th. Car rental is probably the way to go... um, i think you and i are goin climbin man. boulder, rope up, looks like both.

What's goin on my man??? Yeah ...I already started looking for rentals and possible airports etc. Let me know if you got some time and i'll lengthen the trip and we can hit some other areas like Rumney, Daks etc. It would be killer to the rope w/ you again...unless you are projecting some sick 14 or something.
