I am planning to replace the top-rope anchors atop the SY-classic "Applied Magnetics." I will be replacing the current two-bolt anchor with 14mm Petzl Bat'inox glue-ins, which were generously donated by Real Cheap Sports, in Ventura.

I have talked to MANY local climbers who long to have this task completed. If you oppose, please complain now in written form rather than taking out your frustration with a sledge-hammer, as has been done in the past at San Ysidro.

Many Thanks!

The route has been re-equipped. Enjoy!

For those interested to know: the bolts themselves that I removed from atop Applied Magnetics were in pretty good shape. The ROCK that the bolts were in is complete garbage. This is why the anchor has been moved about 3 feet.

I guess I missed the initial posting, but just wanted to offer up a "thanks" for taking care of those bolts.
